Founded in 1961, Kok Thye Hardware Trading Sdn. Bhd. began as a humble home-based business driven by the entrepreneurial spirit of our grandparents, Late Mr. Ng Boon Bee and Late Madam Lee Ban Eng. Over three generations, we’ve grown into one of Klang’s most respected hardware suppliers — known for our strong supplier network, sourcing expertise, and unwavering commitment to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction. We became known for sourcing even the hardest-to-find parts, earning the trust of customers across industries.

1974 2nd Gen.
Kok Thye & Co passed over to parents Ng Kok Yong (Late) & Chong Mee Ngor (Present).
1975
Established Kok Thye Hardware Trading Sdn. Bhd. double storey shoplot at Klang.
2000
Added one warehouse signaling expansion to serve the evolving needs.
2008
2nd warehouse expansion. To provide seamless services & wide range of products.
2020 3rd Gen.
Kok Thye Hardware Trading Sdn. Bhd. transitioned into 3rd generation, a vision set on the horizon.
2023-2026 Future Plan
